Guide to Determining the Condition of Your Item

It is important to accurately rate the physical and functional condition of your item. These ratings are crucial to helping Gazelle meet your expectations.

iPhone Conditions

Flawless (if all of the following is true):

Works perfectly
No noticeable flaws, still in its package or looks like new
Has zero scratches
Has no dust under the glass

Good (if the following is true):
Your iPhone is in great working order with some minor cosmetic signs of wear
Your iPhone has no cracks or missing buttons (power, home, ringer, and/or volume)

Broken (if any of the following is true:
Does not power on
Broken or cracked LCD screen or glass
Missing buttons (power, home, ringer, volume)
Broken or cracked hardware (charging ports, casing, etc.)
Housing separation beyond the width of a nickel

Cell Phone Conditions (non-iPhone)

Flawless (if all of the following is true):
Works perfectly
No noticeable flaws, still in its package or looks like new
Has zero scratches

Good (if the following is true):
Your phone is in great working order with some minor cosmetic signs of wear

Broken (if any of the following is true:
Does not power on
Broken or cracked LCD screen
Broken, cracked, or missing parts (buttons, charging port, battery cover, etc.)
Cannot be activated for service
Critical features cannot be used (touch screen, camera, etc.)

Computer Conditions (Laptop & Desktop):

Flawless (if all of the following is true):
Works perfectly
No noticeable flaws, or looks like new
No scratches or wear
No scratches or scuffs on the display surface

Good (normal signs of use such as the following):
Your laptop is 100% functional
Has normal wear on the keyboard and/or trackpad
Has light scratches and/or very minor dents or nicks
May have very light scratches or scuffs on the display surface, which do not affect viewing

Fair (if any of the following is true):
Your laptop is 100% functional
Has normal wear on the keyboard and/or trackpad
Your laptop has a non-functional component, but still powers on (i.e., the keyboard or trackpad are defective, but the laptop functions otherwise)
Moderate to heavy wear on the keyboard and/or trackpad
Moderate to heavy scratches, dents or scuffs
Minor display issues, such as dead pixels or screen burn
Non-functional port; minor damage to the display hinge

Broken (if any of the following is true):
Laptop does not power on properly
Has multiple functional defects (defective keyboard and a defective trackpad, or multiple non-functional ports, etc.)
Display is heavily damaged or non-functional
Power port is broken or non-functional
Has major physical defects, such as missing keyboard keys or major damage to the display hinge
System fan does not function

Apple Desktops

Flawless (if all of the following is true):
Works perfectly
No noticeable flaws, or looks like new
No scratches or wear
No scratches or scuffs on the display surface (iMac)

Good (normal signs of use such as the following):
Your device is 100% functional
Has light scratches and/or very minor dents or nicks
May have very light scratches or scuffs on the display surface, which do not affect viewing (iMac)

Fair (if any of the following is true):
Your device has a non-functional component, but still powers on (i.e., the hard drive or optical drive are defective, but the desktop functions otherwise)
Bent housing
Moderate to heavy scratches, dents or scuffs
Minor display issues, such as dead pixels or screen burn (iMac)
Non-functional port
Minor damage to the display stand (iMac)

Broken (if any of the following is true):
Desktop does not power on properly
Has multiple functional defects (such as a defective hard drive and a defective optical drive, or multiple non-functional ports.)
Display is heavily damaged or non-functional (iMac)
Power port is broken or non-functional
Has major physical defects, such as missing housing panels
System fan does not function
